In Memory of Corey Haim. Maybe if they stayed in Vancouver they could of lived happily ever after. But they went back to Los Angeles for the 2nd season of The 2 Coreys. Now Feldman is divorced and Haim is dead. RIP Corey Haim to be buried in Toronto BY LEAH COLLINS, DOSE.CA MARCH 12, 2010 Corey Haim called Toronto home for years; it's where the Lost Boys actor was born, and where he returned to get sober after years of addiction. The city will also be Haim's final resting place, U.S. Weekly reports, as the actor's manager Marc Haislip announced that Haim will be buried in Toronto. According to Haislip, a funeral will be held in Haim's hometown because his family "want to do it back home." A second memorial is expected to take place in L.A. — where Haim was living with his mother, Judy Haim, at the time of his death. Dates for both services have yet to be announced. The actor's sudden passing Wednesday was another blow for the Haim family; his mother Judy is battling breast cancer, Us Weekly reports, and as Haislip told the magazine, "She's not doing well at all. This is really hitting her." People close to Haim have described his relationship with his mother as especially close. As Jensen LeFlore, Haim's director on the movie Decisions, recently told People: "His mom was all Corey had . . . He was focused on taking care of his mom. They were living together. He wanted to take care of her." The L.A. County Coroner confirmed to TMZ that Haim's autopsy has been completed, explaining that the former childstar was suffering from pulmonary congestion, an enlarged heart and water in his lungs. However, an official cause of death has not been announced. Shortly after Haim's death Wednesday, police told the L.A. Times that it was suspected the actor died of a drug overdose. Prescription pills, including painkillers Valium and Vicodin, muscle relaxant Soma and the antipsychotic med Haloperidol were found in Haim's apartment, according to TMZ. A final autopsy report isn't expected for another six to eight weeks, Us Weekly reports. As for funeral arrangements, Us Weekly says that the Haim family will likely look to public donations to cover the expense of the two memorials. © Copyright (c) Canwest News Service
